school is out for winter break! YAY! lol my last day of finals was Wednesday and I couldn't be happier! no more school till january 14th a whole month free of school!
also on a happy note I have more vacation time coming up! I will be off starting X-mas day and go back to work on January 2nd! Its gonna be fantastic!

So today I'm driving home from school and I get to this intersection in town where there are several cops who have stopped traffic and some guy with a long stick thingy that has a rolling green thing on the bottom...and the road is wet..... I'm like what the hell? So I call my mom cuz I knew she was out running errands...
ME: whats with all the cops?
Mom: Oh yeah there was a really bad accident in that intersection just a bit ago.
ME: REALLY? cuz I'm sitting at the stoplight and i see nothing.. What the hell, is it an invisible accident? haha
so then come to find out it had just already been cleaned up.. However some poor girl (WHO BY THE WAY HAD THE RIGHT OF WAY) got T-boned by not one BUT two vehicles at the SAME TIME! A truck hit her on one side and a van hit the other... The drivers of those vehicles were ok but the girl had to be cut out of her car... I'm not sure what kind of condition she is currently in though.
Today is day 5 of my vacation... And let me just say I have done a WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING! And it is going by way too fast! Today however I am going to be cleaning and getting things straightened up and looking nice for Thanksgiving since the whole family come over here. Tomorrow is my hair appt. and frankly I can't wait! haha..
I have figured out how I'm gonna survive Thanksgiving with my family.... my dear sweet friend the Long Island Ice Tea.......... :) i realized I still have some left so hopefully that will make the day go a little smoother!
Then on Friday I am going to go shopping with Bri and her family until its time to go to work at 3! I cant wait! I did not get to go shopping last year because I had to work 9-5 but this year I dont have to work until 3 so I'm pretty excited!
So the other night at Dennys Bri and I were sitting with some friends..
One of them C, says the year I found out Santa wasn't real was when I poisoned his cookies and the next morning found Grandpa dead on the living room floor!
Bri and I were talking bout this last night again and I said well ya know that wouldn't necessarily mean Santa isn't real, it just means Grandpa was a greedy bastard!
just a few lil tidbits of conversations from dennys recently.. first I wanna say that Bri and I were playing Go Fish however we decided to change the name to Go Fuck Yourself.....
Bri made some snarky remark at one point and i responded with this

she laughs at me cuz one day i said fuck you and your horse AND YOUR CARRIAGE! AND YOUR MERRY MEN! She was confused as to where the hell I got merry men from i dont even know! lol
Today is the 3rd day of my vacation.... and for the most part I have been a bum! I slept in and then helped mom wrap some x-mas presents.. and then wrapped the birthday presents I got for my niece Emily since her birthday is on Thursday and we need to mail them tomorrow. As for the rest of the day I basically layed around watching Lifetime movies.. hahaa I'm pathetic.. and then I cooked dinner and baked some cookies... Now I'm off to work for a meeting.. YUCK!
So my vacation from work and school started as of yesterdaY! and it is great! Last night I went x-mas shopping with my mom and cousin.... i bought a TON of stuff! haha it was a good thing though cuz i got a bunch of people out of the way at once...still have to buy for mom and dad and two of my neices and my grandmother, two cousins and my uncle because i drew his name for our x-mas thing... BUT i'm over halfway done x-mas shopping so that is always a plus! Tonight the whole family, aunts, uncles and cousins included are going out to dinner at Outback... that should be interesting! lol Anywhoo off to finish getting ready! thats all for now.
so I found out today that I was approved for the vacation time that I requested and let me tell you I am very excited about it! not because I am going to be going anywhere or doing anything exciting....but because it is going to be my FIRST ever PAID VACATION!! hehehe I will be off Nov 16th-22nd. WOOHOO!!!!
Also on a side note I am having a Pure Romance party that I am pretty excited about! haha I had one a few months ago and it turned out to be a blast so we will see how this one goes!

So i have been back from Mississippi for about a week now and let me just say it was a fantastic weekend! getting to see the part of my family i haven't seen in well over a year was great. we got there friday evening and then saturday was the big baby shower. it was an all day event haha we left at 1030 in the morning to go set up.. we held the shower at this beautiful old plantation on Pickwick Dam in Tennessee. My cousin runs the restuarant next door which is owned by the same man who owns the plantation house. My cousin and her daughter used to live on the top floor.
visiting with the family was a great time. it was good to see them all again and definitely a fantastic opportunity to get to see Charlee KAte! Can't wait till next summer to go again because then we will get to see the newest baby girl in the family, Channing.
aww! how i love this lil girl! haha Charlee is the sweetest baby ever!
So it is now the 7th week of classes and after tomorrow I will have had a test in each of my classes... However a couple of the tests and surprised me... the one i thought would be easiest turned out to be the hardest and the one i thought would be the hardest turned out to be the easiest... I think I am pretty well prepared for the one tomorrow... it is in my Criminology class.... and it I think is the most interesting of my classes....so we will see how tomorrow goes!
Work is going pretty good..... as of yesterday ( i went and talked to my zone manager and the store manager) i am now officially not moving back to home decor... i am gonna be staying up on the front and working customer service.. which is pretty much awesome cuz thats my favorite spot to work on the front! 90 percent of the time I'm doing at least 3 things at once and i enjoy that because 1) makes the time go by faster and 2) i hate just standing there doing nothing! i have been thinking bout it over the last couple months and i just decided that i think customer service is a better fit for me than home decor. so we will see how it goes! haha
i MAY be going to Mississippi in a couple weeks for my cousin Dana's baby shower and to visit with my dads family.. i havent seen them in over a year so I'm really hoping i get the time off work.. it would just be a friday thru sunday thing but at this point its better than nothing... it would be nice to get to see them and as an added bonus it would be three glorious days away from lowes!!! :) PLUS my other cousin just had a baby last Nov. whom I havent gotten to meet yet...

**Appearantly i looked scary or pissed of something but that was just bout the funniest damn thing i've heard in awhile.
So the third week of school is almost over.. And I am already stressing a bit. lol Its ok though. My teachers this semester appearantly are like very kind and super on the ball... They have all handed out study guides for our first exams.... None of which are until the beginning of October... now the task is just to utilize them and properly study haha I have my first paper due next Weds. Not sure on the topic yet. I have to pick a minority group and discuss their social status and/or the way they are viewed by society... that should be interesting lol All of my classes this semester are Sociology courses.... BUT thankfully after this semester my MINOR will be complete!!! I am taking Criminology, Race and Ethnic Relations, Women Gender and Society, and Medical Sociology.....
My WG&S teacher is absolutely freakin nutS! lol There is something seriously off about that woman..... not sure what it is yet though....
Anywho all is going well thus far with school......
Still havent transferred to home decor at work yet..... as soon as we get a couple new cashiers to actually stick around longer than a week i will be moving... Or so i'm told.. haha anywho thats all for now.......

So school starts in just a lil over a week.... so that should be interesting.... I'm kinda ready for it to start back up but at the same time I'm not... I'm just ready to get back to it so I can start doing better.... kinda screwed up last semester and now I need to get back on track!
Sometime in the next few weeks I will be moving to Home Decor at work...... as soon as we get a couple more freakin cashiers... lol They told me 3 weeks ago I would be transferring so now I'm just waiting for it to happen...

Not really sure where they are going or what the f*** i'm doing..... i just wanna figure it out unfortunately its just not that easy........ AAH!
So on Tuesday I got a wisdom tooth extracted..... why just one you ask? cuz my dentist is crazy... anyway I was given Tylenol with codeine for the pain... After taking 4 doses of it I woke up on Weds morning with my WHOLE face, not just the side that had been worked on, swollen and i had a rash on my belly, chest and neck, after calling the dr they said well dont take that anymore but you should be fine or at least better tomorrow...... so then thursday i woke up and the swelling in my face was worse and the rash had spread and gotten worse...so we called the doctor and they said to go to the emergeny room.........so off to the ER i went where i spent 3 or 4 hours sitting around for a whole 15-20 minutes with the dr.... i was prescribed with steroids that i am to take for the next 6 days and then hopefully all will be better.... after just a day and half of using the steroids and taking benadryl there is a noticable difference in the swelling of my face and the rash has decreased quite a bit.. so today I am going back to work... it should be interesting...
So for the most part I say whats on my mind and occasionally I dont think before the words come out or whatever lol However my friend Bri and I were just discussing the other night about the things we say and how sometimes its like we are in an episode of Gilmore Girls lol I donno I mean these weird random things just pop into my head all the time and I just kinda go with it lol Sometimes it comes out funnier than I had intended... like the other night at work for example....theres this new kid and i dont even think i know his name yet. lol
Me: yay only 2 1/2 hours till i get off!
New kid: ya oh uh um.. (stops speaking abruptly realizing i didnt want to hear 'i only have 30 min)
Me: Yeah its a good thing you shut up hahaha

Some people are afraid of me and I dont really understand it, however I do think its freakin hilarious! My cousin and I were just discussing that the other night, she told me about a story of her boyfriend (who is 3 times her size) running away from her one night when she was yelling cuz he thought she was gonna hit him lol And then it occured to me that I too have seen that look of fear in an ex-boyfriends eyes before....... heheheheh
so it was a full three weeks of no spending time with J. and let me just say IT SUCKED!!! although during that time i did have family in town and also worked 8 days straight but still... so last Sunday night we spent some time together... after work i went over to his house and we watched a movie and layed around and cuddled and what not... it was a good time.. finally dragged my ass out the door at 3am haha..... so that was good.. he has vacation time coming up here in about a week so that will be nice.. maybe i will get to spend some time with him... HOPEFULLY!
soo my brother, sis in law and my lil gurlios got here last saturday afternoon and stayed until thurs.... we had a great time... did lots of swimming and talking, we went to the zoo and to the arch and showed them around st louis.. it was soo good to see them... i had a lot of fun and took a lot of pictures and was sad when they had to leave...however... thats where the fun ended... i had to go back to work wednesday night and do not have a day off until thursday... YUCK! lol 8 days straight of work.. not good dude, not good.. haha so far im still alive, 3 down 5 more to go...havent hung out with J. in almost 2 weeks... not too happy bout that.. but i did spend 5 of the last 7 days with just family..... i think im going over to his house tomorrow evening when i get off work cuz i miss him.. and we have some things to talk bout...not so much looking forward to the latter. anywho im off to bed i gotta be up in 6 hours.
Today was a fantastic day!!!! Dan came back into town for the weekend and he and Bri came over early this afternoon and hung out for a couple hours and then at about 3 my brother sis in law and brooke and paige got here!!!! YAY! it is sooo good to see them and get to spend time with them!!! Tomorrow we are havin the whole family over for swimming and dinner ( i have to work til 5 but thats not too bad)....... and then on Monday we are gonna take them and go to the zoo and to the arch... I am super excited bout the zoo cuz I really wanna go see the penguins!!! YAY! hehe they are staying till weds so it shall be pretty good!!!!! my good friend beth just had her baby monday night... he was 8lbs 12 oz and 20 in long.. KID IS HUGE! haha i havent got to see him yet cuz i had to work till close last night and then again tonight.. hopefully i will get to see him before the end of the week!!!
My brother, sis-in-law and brooke and paige will be arriving here a week from saturday!!!! I CANNOT WAIT!! i havent seen them in 3 years and let me just say its been way tooo long!!! They are arriving that saturday and staying till the following wednesday... not nearly long enough but it will be a good time! cant believe they will be here in a lil over a week!!!! i took 3 of the 5 days they will be here off work so im pretty stoked about that!!!
one of my best friends is leaving again tomorrow morning... he has been home on leave for the last 2weeks... he just graduated AIT and is heading to Kentucky where he will stay till august when he leaves for Iraq :( :( when i said goodbye to him tonight i barely made it away from him before i started bawlin... i am gonna miss him soo much.. i didnt get to spend much time with him while he was here because i was working pretty much the whole time...
on a happier note... my 21st birthday is exactly 2 months from today!!!!!!!!!! i cant wait! oh how the time is going fast....it will be here before i know it i am sure...
so work sucks haha i was supposed to get off at 11 tonight and i sure didnt walk outta there till 1140... AAH! although that brought me up to 39.5 hours for the week so that will make the next paycheck nice. lol let me tell ya i am really enjoying the money im making since school got out but it blows haha im working more often than im not it seems like...
all in all things have been going really well lately...... im having a great time with my friends.... and i am happier than i have been in a long time.. life is just really good right now...
theres a new guy in my life and things with him are going quite well.. im having a great time and i really enjoy spending time with him we have a lot of fun and we just have this great chemistry between us.... this has all been going on for about a month now and so far things are great... we have a lot in common but theres also a lot thats different...every time i hang out with him i seem to learn something new about him.. its great! he is a really great guy and quite frankly im wondering how i got so lucky that hes interested in me.. :)
school is out and let me just say i couldnt be happier about that!!! the semester has been over for 2 weeks now and im enjoying every minute of it..so far summer is lookin pretty damn good.. dan will be back home on wednesday morning! yay! saturday night is the big party out at the cabin...cant wait!
beths baby boy is due any day now which i am super excited about! cant wait for lil evan to get here!
next week katie and i are hosting a Pure Romance party... it should definitely be a good time! several girls from work are going to come and the last one was a blast! haha
a friend of mine is getting married the first weekend in june... im excited haha i havent been to a wedding in a long time plus its an excuse to go out and buy a pretty dress :)
in just over 3 weeks my brother, sis-n-law and two of my nieces will be here!! i cant wait! im gonna be off work 3 of the 5 days they are here... i havent seen them in 3 years so its long overdue.. i miss them so much!
and then in the WONDERFUL month of july comes most of my favorite things.... first we have the 4th of july, then my parents are going out of town for a week (haha yay a break!), then comes katies b-day which means getting drunk wet & wild hehe this year its undecided whether it will be at my house or out at the lake.. and then comes the madison county fair (yes im a dork i know) and then at the end of july comes my 21st birthday! which i am sure will be a blast.. according to some friends of mine it will be my "birthday week".. its already been decided that on that sunday night at midnight i will be out in stl with my b-word and im sure there will be drinking monday since it is my actual birthday and not sure whats in store for the rest of the week but i do know that the following weekend my friend andrew says hes coming down to visit and party..oooh and another update.. in the last 2 months i have lost 20lbs! haha go me!
